Founded in Antwerp in 2022 and operating from Kapellen since 2025, USTO is a boutique interior studio dedicated to the art of surface. We work at the intersection of craft and contemporary design — creating wall finishes and decorative surfaces that are precise in their execution, intentional in their material choices, and quietly transformative in the spaces they inhabit.

What began as a refined approach to interior painting has grown into a full vocabulary of surface design. We work with textured finishes that catch light and shift with the hour, hand-drawn wall compositions that bring a singular artistic quality to a room, and decorative applications using real metal powders — brass, bronze, copper — that give surfaces genuine depth and material character. Many of our signature finishes are built on microcement foundations, pairing the visual softness of artisanal craft with the structural durability that lasting interiors demand.

Every project begins with listening. We study the space, the light, the life that will move through it — and then we build a surface that belongs there. No two projects are the same, because no two spaces are. Our work is handmade, considered, and delivered without compromise on material quality or finish.

We collaborate closely with leading showrooms and material producers across Belgium, Italy, and Spain, staying at the edge of surface innovation through ongoing certification and industry engagement.
